Day 1: Mombasa-Tsavo East
After breakfast Depart Tsavo west for Mombasa drop off at your hotel
Day 2: Tsavo East – Tsavo West
After an early breakfast leave Mombasa for Tsavo East National Park the Kenya’s oldest and largest park where the infamous man- eaters of Tsavo. There are large herds of Elephants, Buffalos, Common waterbuck, Elands, Gerenuks, Impala and Masai Giraffe. You will have lunch at Aruba Lodge. After relaxation have an afternoon game drive where you come across the spectacle Mudanda rock. The long protrusion is a water catchment area which supplies a natural dam at its base. In the dry season hundreds of elephants come to drink and bathe. Overnight stay at Aruba Lodge on full board basis. After breakfast leave for Tsavo east heading for Tsavo west National Park whereby you will come across lava flows and cones such as Shetani lava flow which is a perfect example of a recent volcano activity. This volcanic zone contains the famous Mzima springs where millions gallons of sparkling crystal clear water gush out daily from below a lava ridge. Hippopotamus and Shoals of barbell live in the springs and provide a dramatic spectacle. The water is so clear that every action of these huge marine beasts under the water and their attendants may be watched from the lookouts or through the plate glass windows of the submerged observation chamber. Overnight stay at Kilanguni lodge on full board basis.
