Day 1: Nairobi - Maasai Mara
Leave Nairobi for Maasai Mara Game Reserve. On arrival proceed to the campsite for lunch . After a short rest proceedcamping_safaris1 for a game drive in search of Black manned lions, Elephants, Leopards, Cheetah, Buffalos and other plain's game. Return to the camp Overnight stay at Mara Intrepids on full board basis
Day 2 : Masai Mara
Early morning and afternoon game drive. Mara Intrepids enjoys one of the most spectacular locations in the Maasai Mara ecosystem. The camp is a short drive from the Mara River, where more than a million wildebeest and zebra make their perilous migration crossing every July and August. For the remainder of the year, the camp offers some of the world’s finest game viewing, with large local populations of elephants, rhinos, buffalos, and all the Big Cats. Overnight stay at Mara Intrepids on full board basis
Day 3 : Maasai Mara / Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, leave Lake Naivasha. After lunch, visit Hells Gate National Park and the geothermal power station Overnight stay at Crater Lake on full board basis.
Day 4 : Lake Naivasha - Lake Nakuru
After breakfast drive to the home of millions of flamingoes, The lake is often coloured by a shimmering flamingo pink from thousands of the beautiful birds lining its shores. The park is also a home to the white and black rhino and about 350 different species of birds. Also known as 'Ornithological Paradise'. Overnight stay at Mbweha Camp on full board basis.
Day 5: Nakuru - Samburu
After breakfast depart to Samburu game reserve a journey across the northernmost foothills of Mount Kenya, proceed to Samburu intrepid a luxurious camp perched on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River in the heart of Samburu National reserve. . Lunch at camp. After relaxation enjoy an evening game viewing drive in the reserve. A wide variety of animals and bird life are seen at the Reserve. Animals commonly seen are elephants, lions, cheetahs, grevy's zebras, giraffes, gerenuks, buffalos, Oryx, grants gazelles, dikdiks and waterbucks. There are over 350 varieties of birds. These include the famous Somali Ostriches, kingfishers, humming birds, eagles, guinea fowls and vultures. Overnight stay at Samburu Intrepids on a full board basis.
Day 6: Samburu - Sweetwaters
Depart Samburu after an early breakfast, you'll travel south, crossing the northernmost foothills of Mount Kenya. Further north you'll turn off the main road at Nanyuki town and head across the plains and enter Ol Pejeta, a private ranch, with your final destination being Sweetwaters Tented Camp an exclusive and relaxing tented camp featuring a swimming pool, fabulous food, game drives around the ranch, and unforgettable views of snow capped Mount Kenya. Lunch at Camp. Afternoon game viewing in the reserve including a visit to the Chimpanzees sanctuary.
Day 7: Sweetwaters -Nairobi
After breakfast and depart for Nairobi lunch enroute. On arrival visit the former home of Karen Blixen – author of “Out of Africa”. Now a Museum, get to explore the beautiful house and grounds at leisure before proceeding to the Giraffe Centre where the rare Rothschild giraffes are being rehabilitated before being returned to the wild. You will be able to see them at close range, even feeding them. Dinner at the famous carnivore restaurant Transfer to the airport for Departure.
